Pieces with the Reeses

My 25th birthday was last weekend before our Amelia trip. We spent it with family in Manning. Mom got me a red velvet cake that was wonderful! Ryan took me out to eat in Charleston the night before. I had a great day! Here are some pictures from the events of the weekend! My bro Ken and his girlfriend Kayla Sweet little Mae Harmon loved the cake too! Our Amelia trip was FABULOUS! Ryan and I are currently in Amelia Island, Florida. It is so wonderful!!  I have been in Anderson on a rotation and my preceptor went to a conference this week, so I had a week off. Ryan and I usually take an annual anniversary trip, but knew we wouldn't be able to this year because of boards that I have to take and his company launching a new product around that time. So, we decided to take a trip this week! It has been a wonderful retreat for us. We needed some time to reconnect, talk and just enjoy life with one another. I hate that we don't do that every day...what a shame! Sometimes making dinner, watching tv and being busy prevents us from truly encouraging each other in deep conversation or taking the time to share a smile or laughter. I look forward to these annual trips of ours so much because it just gives us some etched out time to allow us to grow more in love with one another and reflect on our life journey so far. My sweet friend, Mary, has a wedding coming up in July. Cameron, Ms. Stover and I threw a little kitchen shower in honor of the beautiful bride-to-be. Wow....it has been a while since my last blog, huh? Sorry about that. Life has just been crazy busy...I am now in Anderson doing a rotation and have limited internet access. I am having a great time living with Ryan's parents, but I am missing Ryan. Oh well, school is almost over and then we will be together again! Ryan's brother, Matt, got engaged a couple of weeks ago and we celebrated last weekend! Matt and his FIANCE, Brittany went to Disney World for a little vacay and Matt proposed during their trip. We are so excited for them because they have been patiently waiting for a long time for this event! Saturday night, Matt and Britt's families went to dinner to celebrate at Capri's restaurant in Greenville. We had a great time filled with laughter, fun and joy!
