Slingboxes, Christmas Trees, and a Couple of Grannies....

This weekend, my college roomies and significant others as well as Ryan and myself got together for a Mountain Weekend to get our Christmas trees. It was absolutely perfect! I love my Grannies so very much and I am forever thankful for the relationship the Lord has given me through each of them. It was a blast of a weekend with many laughs, stories, songs, cheers (yes, cheers) and a few tears shed along with some sweating (you had to be there ;))  We got there Friday night and had some good time together and had a meal meant for kings...a huge steak, potatoes and other sides that was delicious. We hung out by the fire pit and just enjoyed time together. And, of course, we fought over baby Daye who is the cutest thing ever! Thanksgiving 2k11

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! Ryan and I headed to Manning last Wednesday night. We were blessed to have our entire family there- Mom, Ken, Little Ken, Quin, Angie, Acie, Mae Harmon, Elizabeth, Tripp, Eadon, Ragin, Anna & Davis....Quite a crew!!! It was a blast. We all went to the pond house with the extended family for Thanksgiving day. We had a delicious meal where you could pick from baked turkey, fried turkey or bbq turkey, the best sweet potato casserole, peas, rice, dressing, cranberry sauce, ham, fruit salad, biscuits...and it was all delicious. We had chocolate delight for dessert. It was a bittersweet time because it was our first holiday without our sweet Daddy Scott. We were all sad, but we tried to think of how happy he would have been to be with all of us and how much he loved his family. We took some time to celebrate his memory and enjoy one of his favorite spots-the pond. The boys fished for a very long time and Ryan caught a TON of fish. We rode
