THREE...and still as happy as can be!

Ryan and I celebrated 3 years of marriage last week! I can hardly believe it has been 3 years. We have had laughter, tears, joy, hardship and FUN. I am so thankful to God for the wonderful gift of marriage. Where else would you come face-to-face with your impurity and selfishness and want to change to be better? It opens your eyes to see things about yourself that would never think about otherwise. It challenges you to live with another person daily and to learn how to love them well and to learn how to push them more to Christ. I am thankful for how well Ryan loves me and for the way he helps me love Christ more. This is one of my favorite pictures from our wedding day. To me it symbolizes what I hope our marriage is about. Just walking together on the narrow road that leads to Jesus, holding one another up along the way. I am so thankful I have a man who loves Jesus more than me and that wants me to keep growing. I hope each of you have or will have the same. What a gift!!!!

A Big Day!

Well, it finally happened! I graduated from PA school last Friday! The ceremony was really nice with some great speakers that got us pumped about our future careers. The best part was all my family that came!!  Even my nieces who were celebrating their birthday missed school to come to the graduation. My 3 sets of parents were there and brothers and sisters. It was great. We went out to eat after it all and celebrated the birthday with some cupcakes.  My dad and Kim Mom and Big Ken My grandmother, Mama Scott Mrs. Cindy and Mr. Mike Bokes and me Elizabeth and Quin Throwing up the "1-1" in honor of their birthday My aunts, Rosy and Meri Amber and I Holly and I showing off the new coats! The Reeses took us to Litchfield for the weekend. It was a great retreat and fun time to be with everyone, but we missed Matt and Britt! Scout had his first stay at the kennel and now, of course, he is sick. He started on some antibiotics today. But, for those of you who k

PA PA-rty!

Our PA class threw a graduation party last weekend which was so much fun! Ryan and I had a great time celebrating with all my pals from school. Our party was at the Charleston Yacht Club. We had a great band and good food and drinks. Ryan and I were on the dance floor all night!!! We thought we would only end up staying at the party for a little while, but when we finally looked at the time, we had already been partying for about 4 hours. It was a great time and so much fun to hang out with sweet friends that I have made in school. Here is a picture of some of us "girlfriends" having a blast at the PA-Partay!!!

Reflections

I am currently about to be done with my last class ever in PA school. That fact combined with the fact that I have to turn in my computer in about an hour has inspired me to blog! I cannot believe that this chapter of my life is almost done. As I look back over my life, I think of the many things that I have done and sacrificed to prepare for this moment. High school and working hard to make the best grades possible and be involved so that I could achieve something and do something with my life. College and majoring in Biology so that I could go into the health care field. Figuring out that I wanted to go to PA school and my course changing. I ended up having to take about 36 extra hours on top of biology courses just to get the pre-reqs I needed for PA school. I remember back to the application process and attempting to make sure everything was in order. Then I was devastated when I did not get into PA school that first time. I began a job after we got married at the Heart Center to
