BBQ Shower for Becca and Craig


After meeting Augusta Daye, Ryan and I headed to Sumter, SC for a wedding shower for Becca and Craig. Becca is one of my sweet "grannie" friends and she got engaged to Craig a few months ago. I am sure you may remember this cute duo from posts when we lived in Charleston. It has been a while since we have seen them, so it was amazing to see them and celebrate their engagement this weekend. Their wedding will be here in almost a month....hard to believe!!

The setting for the shower was beautiful. It was a perfect night with sweet friends. I was so excited to also get some time with another great friend, Hanna, who I didn't even know would be there. We had a blast. Craig's dad, Vic, ended up taking my camera from me because he forgot his and took an enormous amount of "candid" shots. I got so cracked up because at one point he looked at me and said, "This is the  biggest roll of film I have ever seen." (keep in mind my camera is digital :)) So many laughs and good memories made. It was an awesome night! Thanks for letting us be a part of your wedding celebrations, Becca and Craig! We love you!

After that day, we were pooped and headed back to Manning for the weekend.....another blog post to come.....

Little Beach....Little Baby....

We have been having a great summer so far. We have been able to enjoy the beach twice so far this summer season, which has been amazing!! Ryan and I both had Memorial Day off, so we went to Litchfield. My sister and her family, mom and stepdad and brother were all at the beach. I am such a copy-cat today, but I love this idea! My favorite, Beth Moore, started this on her blog,  and then I noticed my girls, Alyssa and Kathyrn did it on their blogs too. He's kind of a big deal....

Well, I knew my husband was handsome when we got married, but I had no idea he would be a model one day! Ryan is now THE FACE for the company he is working for :) He has had countless photo shoots and his picture is on the info sheets that his company gives all of their clients. I know, right.....he really is a big deal!!! I just think that is hilarious that any second at work, Ryan will turn around and someone will be taking his picture. And, he has to go to work everyday looking hot...you know, just in case! Don't worry about me...I don't really feel insecure about it or anything like that. Just secretely hoping that one day I will be discovered too. Until then, I am happy to brag on my handsome husband!!!
