Update

Well, once again, I have dropped the ball on my blogging. Sorry!!!

I will just update you all on the latest happenings of our lives......
  • I took the job with Doctor's Care! Super pumped to start working as a PA!
  • I am now in Manning doing my Women's Health rotation living with my family
  • Ryan is just working hard for us doing his job in Charleston
  • Matt, Ryan's brother, is now in Iraq....pray for him and his safety
  • Scout is with Ryan's parents in Greenville...we will get him back next weekend.
I am sorry I don't have more of an update right now! We are going to Atlanta this weekend for my friend Mary's wedding. I will have more of an update to come soon.

Miracle!!

Ryan and I are so so thankful and excited to make the announcement that we are having a baby! Right now, I have just finished up the first trimester. The baby is almost 15 weeks old. We actually get to find out the gender in a couple of weeks, which is so exciting! It has been such a wonderful time. The Lord has truly blessed us with this miracle. Through this process, the thing that I have been thinking the most of in my heart is that the Lord is good. I don't know why this truth is sometimes hard for me to soak in. Life is hard and trials happen- this is so true and the trials do not make God any less good. However, sometimes, the Lord just gives to His children. I find it so crazy that I am resistant to believe this at times, but I always look at the toughest or hardest outcome in a situation and assume that it will happen. Praises!!!!

I found out this morning that I passed the board exam! I am beyond thankful for this blessing. All the time I was studying I was in a cloud of doubt...wondering if the PA profession was right for me, what would I do if I failed, how was I ever going to get through it? But, this process brought me to my knees in new ways. I prayed each day for His strength to bring His work to completion. This was the verse that I would repeat throughout the days of studying and it is so special to me: "You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great." -Psalm 18:35 The Lord answers prayer.
