A little This, A little that

My sweet friend, Amber, had a birthday last week. R and I had so much fun celebrating with her!! She had some friends meet up with her at a Mexican place and then we went over to her house for cake and champagne. It was fun celebrating with Amber and reuniting with a favorite couple of ours from PA school, the Zips. It was a great night full of fun with friends!!

I headed to Charleston to see Ryan and some friends on Friday. On my way, I was able to stop in and see sweet Sarah, who is expecting a baby girl in October. She looks great and her nursery is adorable. It was great seeing her for a few minutes.

Then, R and I got to reunite with some great, wonderful friends. We were able to see most of our old bible study crowd at dinner on Friday night at our favorite spot in Charleston, Sette. Saturday, most of us went to Edisto to see Becca and Craig run the Governer's Cup. We had a blast. Becca and Craig did an awesome job and we had a blast hanging out with them

Suffering....it is not an easy thing to bear up under. I feel that as life goes on, I am seeing more and more suffering around me. I have recently been through a tough season in my life. In the midst of difficult circumstances, it has caused me to look to God and question at times. I think sometimes in the Christian life, we are told, “Don’t question. Just believe. I am such a copy-cat today, but I love this idea! My favorite, Beth Moore, started this on her blog,  and then I noticed my girls, Alyssa and Kathyrn did it on their blogs too. Little Beach....Little Baby....

We have been having a great summer so far. We have been able to enjoy the beach twice so far this summer season, which has been amazing!! Ryan and I both had Memorial Day off, so we went to Litchfield. My sister and her family, mom and stepdad and brother were all at the beach. Trey even came to the beach to visit Ryan as well!!  A few cute nieces and handsome nephew Pretty girls on the beach Trey and Ryan catching some rays I joined them for a pic...
