Live Big for God

Ryan & I went to Passion in 2007. Passion is a week-long meeting where college kids go to worship together and get some teaching from some of the best teachers in the world. At the Passion conference, Ryan and I first saw Francis Chan and listened to him present a great lesson from the Word....we both really learned a lot from him.

We recently watched this video....a sermon by Francis Chan:

Ryan and I were both so encouraged by this video to live life for GOD....not for comfort, safety, ease, popularity, success, but just for Him. Let God take a hold of all we are holding on so tightly to, so that we can really be free. I don't know about you, but I want to hear a "well done" when I reach Glory from God Himself.

Thought you all may get a blessing from this video. Be brave for Christ...He will make you strong where you are weak and He will surely use you!!!

Miracle!!

Ryan and I are so so thankful and excited to make the announcement that we are having a baby! Right now, I have just finished up the first trimester. The baby is almost 15 weeks old. We actually get to find out the gender in a couple of weeks, which is so exciting! It has been such a wonderful time. The Lord has truly blessed us with this miracle. Through this process, the thing that I have been thinking the most of in my heart is that the Lord is good. I don't know why this truth is sometimes hard for me to soak in. Life is hard and trials happen- this is so true and the trials do not make God any less good. However, sometimes, the Lord just gives to His children. I find it so crazy that I am resistant to believe this at times, but I always look at the toughest or hardest outcome in a situation and assume that it will happen. Praises!!!!

I found out this morning that I passed the board exam! I am beyond thankful for this blessing. All the time I was studying I was in a cloud of doubt...wondering if the PA profession was right for me, what would I do if I failed, how was I ever going to get through it? But, this process brought me to my knees in new ways. I prayed each day for His strength to bring His work to completion. This was the verse that I would repeat throughout the days of studying and it is so special to me: "You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great." -Psalm 18:35 The Lord answers prayer.
